International Commercial Stretcher

(Service is currently not available within the Domestic United States)

Using an established airline to facilitate an overseas transfer

Air Ambulance Network’s Commercial Stretcher Service turns a Commercial Airliner into an Advanced Air Ambulance offering a cost effective alternative to the private air ambulance. Commercial stretcher services can take anywhere from 7 to 14 days to arrange. However, sometimes we can do it in less. We take care of all the arrangements. As we will be flying on a commercial airliner, the number of family members / passengers that can travel with the patient is limited by airline seat availability. Luggage is also limited on an airline by airline basis. Commercial Stretcher Service is not available for transfers within the country of origin, but is a good option for long international transfers from Asia to North America or Europe to North America. There are very specific guidelines and numerous restrictions involved and therefore each case is carefully and individually assessed. Eligibility is determined by our Medical Director who operates in association with the Medical Department of the chosen airline. Our ICU/CCU Aero-medically trained personnel all specialize in critical care transports and bring with them any necessary emergency equipment, including but not limited to: cardiac monitor, defibrillator, IV pumps, Transport ventilators, oxygen and saturation monitor, emergency medication, etc. Your dedicated Flight Coordinator is available 24 hours a day to assist you with every aspect of your escort. One call does it all: Your Flight Coordinator will take care of ticketing, ground transportation and coordinate with attending and receiving facilities. Our team members are the Best of the Best Air Ambulance Network is licensed and insured.
